... and wow, this year has been busy busy busy.

I'll admit I've had nearly NO activity anywhere online, but hey that's what I get for doing Engineering.
So, Programming done and out of the way once again, won't know my results until mid-month, but that's me officxially done until at least March.
As such, back to getting stuff up here. Manifest and Armageddon photos are on the way, and if I can get my head right I should be able to get a flow of drawings out again (have a few things in mind already).
More importantly, means I can take a break and just relax with people again, which I'll admit I do hate having to put aside for uni.

Speaking of Manifest photos, sadly that'll be the last batch for that convention. Melbourne Anime Festival was officially put to rest as of this month, so 2013 will be the last year for that convention. Just two major conventions a year now... it honestly feels weirder than you'd think.

What else, what else... not a whole lot relevent to dA.
I mean, I saw the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special, went to see it while in cosplay and it was delightful... eagerly awaiting the release of Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty... got my drivers license FINALLY, good grief... yeah, honestly nothing dA-centric. *shrugs*


So, yup. After the Manifest and Arma photos, should be more regular drawing uploads again, hopefully.

So wow, it has been a while since I've done a dA clean up, or even had the time to draw something, my goodness.

What can I say, 2013 has been a pretty busy year already.
Repeat subjects at uni, issues with employment agencies, even just got back from a trip to Japan with a few friends only this Monday.
And most importantly, I fell in love. Honestly, giving so much of my time to my girlfriend is a commitment that I've been fairly comfortable with. *blushes stupidly*

But yeah, first semester done and I passed both of my subjects. Next semester with programming is going to be a doozy, oh boy. O_O;

With the remainder of my holidays and sparks here and there of inspiration, I may have some more drawings to plonk up in the coming months. Let's Plays are on a slower pace at the moment, quite the editing backlog I have but stuff is still on the way... but, hehe, spoilers:
Wily Wars is near completion, and hopefully when that's done I'll be moving on to either Sonic CD or DragonBall Advanced Adventure... oh boy, two very good games next imo.

Been a while since I've done an update, but UGH it's partially due to the fact that I haven't had the chance to filter through my deviations inbox. And it doesn't particularly help that every time I try to, there's some form of new pop up sneaking its way through the ads on deviantArt. HURUMPH!
So the only way to deal with it and stop something leaking through... is by going through every deviation one by one. And I am loathing it, it's driving me a little bonkers. This is the THIRD time I've had to resort to this, and every time it's been a different pop up causing the issue. Seriously, how many times do I need to close the same pop up tab to get the message across that I'm not interested in Online Lottery Tickets?!
*sigh* I know that placing ads on dA helps keep the site going and all, but to be perfectly honest, it could do without it if things are going to keep causing problems like this. So yeah, if I haven't commented on something on dropped you a favourite until now, that's why.


Anywho, monetised frustrations aside, I do indeed have more content on the way. While I have admittedly spent a large percentage of this month editting a Spyro the Dragon playthrough I did with a friend, a RACE of the game in fact, I have been doing much brainstorming and sketching and should hopefully have at least two more drawings up by the end of the week. I'm also hoping to have the next chapter, if not all remaining chapters, of Team Elemental done by the month's end too, as needs a whole lot more to work off to introduce my OC into Crossroads and i'd like to give him everything, even a Crossroads lead in epilogue too.

Speaking of Spyro, yeah, a Let's Race of that is slowly going up on YouTube between myself and one of my friends, so that's pretty awesome. And my Abe's Exoddus playthrough, which I'm very proud of for my last playthrough of 2012, is nearly half up, which is being recieved very well, which I'm pleased with.
So is my sister too, considering she was in the entire thing.

That "remix" I promised... I have been working on it, with what recording equipment I have. Taking a lot of fiddling, so not quite sure how soon that will be finished.

Real life things... hmm, haven't done much in the way of that in a while. Well, this year at uni I'm planning to do some "catch up", as last year didn't go all too smoothly as I've said before. I'm repeating the subjects that were giving me problems in a fashion that gives me ample time to allocate the time I need to each subject instead of trying to do MATHS AND PROGRAMMING AT ONCE, like a goof. Depending on how this year goes will determine if I keep doing engingeering or move to a less programming and electronics based course, and while I'm comfortable with either I'd like to see how much further I can go before I resign to chasing an engineering profession. Guess I'll see how that goes when uni starts back up at the start of March.
I've also been catching up on a lot of movies I hadn't seen yet, four in particular. I saw Rise of the Guardians and Wreck-It Ralph in the last few weeks and my goodness they were some of the best 2012 movies I've ever seen. Out of the cinema, however, I did get the chance to watch Tintin, Puss in Boots and the Avengers, and those three movies were incredible too.

My word, SO glad to be done with uni for this year. First semester was such a gruelling experience, so second semester has indeed been busy but considerably better... well, save for Actuators and Sensors. XD
I had my last exam on Wednesday and it went fairly reasonably. Won't know if it was enough until my marks come out, but I'm thinking positively about this (and reminding myself that no matter how badly I did on my Actuators exam, everyone else will have barely done any better).
Of course, I know many of my friends both in Australia and overseas are still in the middle of exams, so all the best to each and every one of you on those. GANBATTE!

And so with my exams and uni over for the year, and our of my hair until late February next year, I can finally spend my time doing things I've been meaning to do for ages now.
Aside from the dire need of reorganising and tidying up my room is due for, much drawing, writing, cosplay, music playing, remixing and let's play recording is in store for the next few months. But most importantly, I can spend some much needed time with my friends again... oh the time that engineering has taken away from me, I SHALL NOW PROCEED TO TAKE IT ALL BACK!
Also just did another mass cleanup through my dA messages. As much as I love joining groups, it can fill up my messages WAY too quickly, so I'll need to make a habit of going through it more regularly again.

So, I'll be sure to getting back into the swing of uploading much new content both here and on YouTube. My mind is literally swimming with ideas of things to draw at the moment, so I'm hoping I'll have a bunch of stuff to upload by the end of next week.
And if all works out, I may have a super special music remix type of thing - that may or may not be OCremix and Rayman sounding - by Christmas which I'm planning on working on soon. Plus, hopefully Chapter 3 of Team Elemental will be up by the end of the month and possibly Chapter 4 before the end of the year as well.

... and I managed to get sick in the first week. Wow, really?
Yeah, my cold came back half-way through my first week back at uni and I was confined to my bed on Friday because I was so sick. BUT I'm feeling reasonably better now, so it's just a matter on catching up with what work I missed.

So despite being back at uni, I'm going to still try and produce stuff when I can. I only have 4-6 more OC drawings that I'd like to get finished, so I'd like to get them done relatively soon before I have to put it off because of studies... in fact, I'm doing one now.
I admit I didn't draw as much as I would've liked to these holidays, but I drew a fair bit and of a great many things too, and I missed having time to draw.

Admittedly my focus these last few weeks has been on getting my Let's Play of Rayman Advance recorded, editted and uploaded, so that's probably why I haven't drawn a whole lot. That and I've been trying to nut things out for my Trunks cosplay for Manifest, which mum and I have been working on since school production finished. We actually got the boots worked out, I was so relieved.


So yes, hopefully I'll have some more drawings up over the next few weeks, and a whole bunch of photos from Manifest too.
Same goes for future LPs, we have a Let's Race in the works on the LPerLeague that could be happening fairly soon too.
Of course, I can't make any promises, what with how hectic uni is, but I'll do y best to get the balance right.
